Suffern Central Covers Up For RP Connor Elementary School Teacher David McNally Again | Suffern Central School District
SUFFERN, NY — The Suffern Central School District is, once again, involved in a cover up, this time for RP Connor Elementary School teacher David McNally, and this is not the first time.
This post was tweeted on October 13, 2020, on the official Twitter page and their Official Facebook page for Suffern Central School District.
When you click on the tweet you will see more specifically this:
Suffern Central School District Employees — COVID-19 Frontline Team
They always say that the cover up is worse than the crime and this time it involves the Suffern Central School District staff that were assigned to the COVID Frontline Team. These are the people helping to distribute food to students in the district.
Look closely to the male standing in the back right portion of the picture!
David McNally, Physical Education teacher at RP Connor Elementary School and Suffern High School Lacrosse coach, is seen in this photo op wearing a mask around his chin. Yes, a chin diaper that was attempted to be covered up by a district official. He is also definitely not socially distancing at 6 feet apart while not wearing a mask.
David McNally — RP Connor Elementary School Teacher
It appears as though someone took a black marker or ‘markup’ feature on iPhone to literally color in a black mask. Someone put him in blackface! This is taken from actual page of these photos posted on an open Suffern Central Twitter page. This image had to be altered by a district official before it was published on the school district’s official twitter page. You can clearly see the ear straps that are white and attached to the mask being worn over his chin, and then someone put him in black face, attempting to cover up the fact that he was not social distancing and not wearing a mask.
Did David McNally Put Staff and Students At Risk?
So, obviously the rules don’t apply to David McNally, however, did he put other staff members at risk? He is on the team working with food, so does he not wear a mask when handling the food? Does that put our children’s health in question? These are all questions that everyone should be concerned with.
It is also concerning that someone in the district would attempt to cover it up and SO POORLY! Jenny Mirmelstein is the social media person for the Suffern Central School District. She is a Rockland BOCES employee that is assigned to Suffern Central.
Not The First Time That Suffern Central Had to Coverup For David McNally
In June of 2004, David McNally was alleged, in a lawsuit, to have had slammed a student to the ground on the sidelines of a Suffern Football Game. Although the case was ultimately dismissed, the judge has this to say about David McNally:
According to the student, he was horsing around and blocking the view of McNally on the sidelines, at which point David McNally picked up the student and slammed him into the ground.
This is concerning that there is a teacher in the district that would do this to a student, however, here we are. The complaint further goes into the other coaches trying to get the student to forget about the incident and not to get his parents involved, making the student feel as though the coaches thought that McNally’s behavior was acceptable. Maybe this was other staff covering up his violent actions? The judge found David McNally’s behavior wholly inappropriate and unacceptable.
McNally then told the student he should have kept his parents out of it because “you’re going to have to grow up — not grow up, but learn to deal with problems on your own and not get your parents involved so much.” McNally doesn’t want the student to talk to his parents? Is that because McNally knew his violence got the best of him and he didn’t want to be held accountable for it? Well it seems as though bullying the student, McNally was trying to silence him.
Questions were raised about the police investigation that occurred because of David McNally’s relationship with the investigating officer, Thomas Donnelly. Yes the same Tom Donnelly on the School Board. Tax’em Tom Donnelly, who votes for the highest possible taxes get imposed on our residents. Seems like everyone is willing to cover up for David McNally and who knows who else. The NYPOST even wrote about the story: https://nypost.com/2005/12/27/i-was-double-teamed-jocks-coach-trauma/
Suffern Central School District Coverup
This simple post with someone trying to coverup the fact that David McNally wasn’t wearing a mask begs the question, if they were willing to try to cover this up, what else are they willing to cover up? We already see one instance above that coaches and Tax’em Tom Donnelly were alleged to have covered up McNally’s alleged violent behavior in the past. What is the position of Matthew Kern, Board President, or Lisa Weber, Acting Superintendent of this incident?
Maybe the fact that David McNally is BBQ buddies with Stephen Marx, the Grievance Officer for the Suffern Education Association might have something to do with the fact that the district doesn’t want to touch McNally. It really shouldn’t matter too much as Stephen Marx spends most of his days crying about insignificant issues and spends the district tax payers money on trying to defend against his trivial and insignificant grievances. He is often seen at district board meetings whining about something and often seems unhinged and triggered. Marx and McNally seems to share in the anger issue department, based on their public behavior.
